About Me:I am a psychologist in Oakland CA, and have been in private practice for 12 years. I have specialties in working with LGBTQ folks, trauma, and with complex grief. I find that when there are places that are difficult to reach, in some cases ketamine assisted psychotherapy is incredibly helpful. I have over 75 hours of KAP training from Polaris Insight Center, as well as completion of the MAPS MDMA assisted psychotherapy certification. Over these years I have continuously been moved by the nuances and changes that this work entails, and the life that it can bring forth.
Description of Services:I work deeply and psychodynamically in a socio-cultural context. I work weekly or multiple times per week depending on what is needed. I currently only have opening for ketamine assisted psychotherapy.

Overview of Experience:Before beginning ketamine medicine sessions, we have at least 3 preparatory therapy sessions for me to get to know you and your inner and outer world, and for us to see if we make a match and build trust and connection. There are also 1-2 integration sessions between medicine sessions. All therapy sessions are led by what is needed by you and we think and feel together about what the work can look like.
Intake Process:I begin with a 10-15min phone call to find out what you are looking for, then set up a 50min session to begin the process.
